DES HOMMES
Quatre copains, Josiane et Claude Massaloux, Noël Dubois et Jacques Augendre sont à l’origine de cette belle aventure avec l’accord de l’Abbé Latapie. Plus tard, Jean Audin professionnalisera la structure pour atteindre le plus haut niveau. Depuis les années 90, les présidents ou présidentes qui se sont succédés ont conservé cette tradition.
UNE HISTOIRE
Créé en 1954, le Club n’a cessé de gravir les échelons afin de porter les couleurs tourangelles au plus haut niveau national. Ainsi, il est devenu le premier club de Tours, de la Région Centre Val de Loire et l’un des meilleurs de l’hexagone.
UN PALMARÈS
Sous l’impulsion des Gernot (N°5 français) puis de Gatien (N°1 mondial), Saive (N°2 mondial), Farout (N°4 français), Gu (n°2 français) et la nouvelle génération Boisard, Mahuet, Benaise, Rigault, Aufrère et Debruyères, le club a été Champion de France par équipes jeunes, a remporté de nombreux titres nationaux individuels, fut sacré Vice-Champion de France de Nationale 1, a évolué en première Division et en Pro B Masculine.
Les nouveaux internationaux, comme Lucas Rigault, Antoine Doyen et Lilian Bardet ne cessent d’entraîner le club vers le haut. 2017 a été l’aboutissement du nouveau projet club avec un titre de National 1 avec le renfort de Michel Martinez bien secondé par Debruyères, Moland et Bardet et le retour en Pro B… Aussi et malgré une relégation, de nouveaux efforts logistiques, techniques et structurels dans une salle où le spectacle est total permettent au club de rêver et imaginer la Pro À ! Les recrutements successifs de Martinez, Lorentz, Gorak et maintenant Tsuboi, Angles et Pryshchepa doivent à terme nous y aider.
UN SAVOIR FAIRE
Club formateur depuis plus de 60 ans, la 4S Tours a su montrer le chemin à de nombreuses générations pour aller vers le haut niveau tout en offrant à chacun la possibilité de progresser à son rythme.
Club organisateur depuis plus de 25 ans, avec l’accueil de nombreuses compétitions nationales et internationales sous l’égide de la FFTT ou de la FFH, le club a assuré sa promotion, son développement et le rayonnement de la discipline.
Club citoyen pour le bien et l’équilibre de tous. En marge de L’accès vers le haut niveau, la 4S Tours est un acteur social de la Métropole en proposant des actions de proximité (sport-santé, sport handicap) pour tous les publics et en favorisant l’insertion avec le Tour(s) de Table Vers l’Emploi, Job Dating de Novembre !

Four friends, Josiane and Claude Massaloux, Noël Dubois and Jacques Augendre are at the origin of this beautiful adventure with the agreement of the Abbé Latapie. Later, Jean Audin will professionalize the structure to reach the highest level. Since the 90’s, the presidents who succeeded each other have kept this tradition.
A HISTORY
Created in 1954, the Club has never stopped climbing the ladder to carry the Touraine colors to the highest national level. Then, it has become the first club of Tours, of the Centre Val de Loire Region and one of the best in France.
LIST OF AWARDS
Under the impulse of Gernot (N°5 French) then Gatien (N°1 world), Saive (N°2 world), Farout (N°4 French), Gu (N°2 French) and the new generation Boisard, Mahuet, Benaise, Rigault, Aufrère and Debruyères, the club was Champion of France by young teams, won many individual national titles, was crowned Vice-Champion of France of National 1, evolved in first Division and in Pro B Male.
The new international players, such as Lucas Rigault, Antoine Doyen and Lilian Bardet, have continued to lead the club to the top. 2017 was the culmination of the new club project with a National
1 with the reinforcement of Michel Martinez well assisted by Debruyeres, Moland and Bardet and the return in Pro B… Also and in spite of a relegation, new logistic, technical and structural logistic, technical and structural efforts in a room where the show is total allow the club to dream and imagine the Pro A ! The successive recruitments of Martinez, Lorentz, Gorak and now Tsuboi, Angles and Pryshchepa should help us in the long run.
